JAPAN

Approved 1969

Annette (Jessup) Howell was born June 30, 1937 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She had faithfully attended a Methodist church most of her life. When she joined that church at seventeen she realized there was something missing but her pastor told her that someone who had attended church all of their life did not need the same experience as a sinner.
She and Lynwood were married May 25, 1958 and moved to Newport News, Virginia. They attended Tri-City Baptist Tabernacle and Mrs. James Bond, the pastor's wife was responsible for leading Annette to the Lord in 1962.  They moved to Portsmouth, Va. where they surrendered for full time service under the ministry of U. G. Robertson. She was a graduate of Baptist Bible College.
They were approved as BBFI missionaries to Japan in June, 1969.  Annette died March 7, 1973.  She was survived by her husband, Lynwood and three children Lynwood, Jr., Rachel Ann, and David Bradley.
