FRED NULL
1917-1992
PHILIPPINES

Approved 1952

Edwin Fred Null was born July 22, 1917 in Wellington, Texas.  He and Bertha Lorene Null were married July 10, 1935.  In 1944 he answered the call to preach and enrolled at the Bible Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.  He pastored churches in Texas, Kansas and Louisiana before the Lord called him to the Philippines.  They were approved Sept 2, 1952.
On their first term his right kidney ruptured.  In November 1967, again in the Philippines, Bro. Null suffered a heart attack. In 1977 he had another heart attack and several months later a massive stroke.  In 1981 they returned for the last time from the Philippines when he suffered another light stroke.
In 1982 they started a Filipino church in National City, California where they reached and trained hundreds of Filipino people. He spent the last years of his life with his right arm and hand completely paralyzed.  He wore a brace on his right foot and leg and at one time he lost his ability to speak but the Lord returned his speech and he witnessed tirelessly among the Filipino people until his death on January 28, 1992. He was survived by two daughters: Barbara and Elizabeth.
