About Us
Who We Are
The Baptist Bible Fellowship International is a global network of independent Baptist pastors, churches, missionaries, and ministry leaders united by a common faith and a shared mission: to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Founded in 1950, the BBFI has grown into a vibrant fellowship of thousands of churches across the United States and around the world. We exist to encourage and equip local churches to fulfill the Great Commission through church planting, missions, leadership development, and ministry collaboration.
What We Believe
At our core, we are unapologetically biblical, boldly evangelistic, and firmly committed to local church autonomy. Our doctrinal foundation is rooted in the inerrant Word of God and reflects historic Baptist distinctives. (Click here for our Articles of Faith).
What We Do
The BBFI serves churches in three key areas:
Missions – Supporting hundreds of missionaries serving on six continents, reaching the unreached, and establishing indigenous churches.
Education – Training the next generation of leaders through biblically faithful and practically equipped Christian colleges and seminaries.
Communication & Fellowship – Creating opportunities for pastors and ministry leaders to connect, grow, and collaborate through national meetings, publications, and digital platforms.
Our Structure
The BBFI is guided by a nationally elected Executive Committee and supported by State Representatives who serve as liaisons between the national leadership and local fellowships. Though every church is autonomous, each church chooses to partner together for greater Kingdom impact. (Click here for our Constitution and By-Laws).
