Church: Village East Baptist Church
Website: http://vechurch.com/
Church Description:
Village East Church is an independent Baptist church located in Aurora, Colorado, Denver's largest and most culturally and racially diverse suburb. We were founded in the 1960s and had congregations of nearly 400 in the 1980's that slowly trickled to around 50 members and are currently running around 20 post-COVID. While this may seem like a small number, we have a large, debt-free facility and property, and currently open our doors to two other churches that service Russian- and Spanish-speaking congregations. We maintain a close relationship with the local public elementary school, serving as their emergency evacuation point and providing supplies and snacks as needed. We are very missions-minded and currently support twelve missionary families at more than $300 per month each, along with other supportive organizations.
Village East has strong spiritual leadership, with two Elders serving as pastors. We have a flexible and relaxed, blended worship style. Our demographic is older, but the group has been flexible and open to change, consistently seeking Jesus' direction for the church. Our facilities include an auditorium, chapel, classrooms, parsonage, storage building, and large field that served as a softball field back when that was popular.Job Requirements:

Will need to be missions and community outreach minded with a heart for people of all ages and nationalities. Will need to be bi-vocational. Note: We have historically had fulltime pastors on staff and as soon as the church grows financially and physically would love to do so again.
Job Description:
"For the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." In addition to Ephesians 4, we are a small church that has been praying for revitalization. We need someone who is excited at the opportunity to help grow a congregation, help reach the local community, and continue our strong missions' heart. As the Lord told Joshua, "Be strong and of good courage…" This man will need to love, lead, and protect our church. Though the above are paramount, it is of equal or greater importance that he enjoys restorative time with and ministering to his own family.

Our Pastor Ed Scaglione has decided to retire after 50 years in ministry. We are now beginning to look for a new Pastor to continue the work at Calvary Baptist Church of Larkspur that started 75 years ago. We are praying for a full- time Pastor who will lead us to continue to faithfully serve our Lord and remain a conservative, Bible preaching/teaching ministry to our members and community.

Our Lord has blessed the church with a consistent 75 year testimony as a conservative Light in a liberal area. We love Bible expository preaching and studies, conservative music, and our 9 supported missionaries. We continue to be financially blessed for the support of a full- time Pastor. The church has no debt and owns our worship facilities and a 5 bedroom, 2 baths parsonage.
Not knowing the Pastor and family that our Lord will bring to us, our prayers have been directed toward a mature, Biblically and personally separated, conservative, married Pastor whose passions would be building up believers and reaching out to the lost of Marin County California.

Position Available: Senior Pastor
Church: Midlothian Baptist Church
Website: http://mbcrva.org/
Church Description:
Midlothian Baptist Church was founded by Ken and Kathy Cornett in February 1987. After 37 years as pastor, he is retiring. He is still serving as pastor, but he does not plan to attend the church after retiring, and is moving. The church was founded as an Independent Baptist church associated with the Baptist Bible Fellowship International, but joined the Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia (Conservatives) in 2019. We did not drop any missionaries that we supported when we joined the SBCV. We are the sending church for two BBFI missionary families and have 19 other missionary projects we support. We have also taken several missionary trips with teams from our church. Thank God we have never had a financial crisis at the church. Our worship music is a blend of hymns and praise songs with a band
Midlothian is a suburb of Richmond VA. It is a fast -growing area in Chesterfield County. New homes and apartments are being built within a few miles of the church. The church is located on a 4-lane road that is one mile from a beltway around Richmond.
The church is out of debt on the 8,900 square foot building, two modular buildings, a 2400 square foot pavilion, 15 acres, and has a sizable building fund for the next building. Plans for a new multipurpose building was approved by the county, the land was cleared, and a building permit was issued, but plans are delayed due to the need to raise funds. We have spent $300,000 on the project to date.
The average attendance is around 110 and is a mix of ages and ethnic groups. A good percentage of the members were saved in the church. There is a sweet spirit in the church, where the people love the Lord Jesus, the pastor, and each other.
This is a great opportunity for a godly man with the ability to train leaders, can preach well, win souls, has a heart for foreign missions, and who loves the Lord and people. If you are a five-point Calvinist, speak in tongues, not a Baptist, or want to use a small church as a stepping stone to a larger ministry, then you need not apply. Concerning the social issues of today, we are pro-life, we believe that marriage is only between a man and a woman, there is no such thing as transgenderism, homosexuality is a sin, and women have a very important ministry in the church, but should not be ordained as pastors.Job Requirements:
Interested parties must meet the biblical conditions of a pastor as taught in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5. Must be a man. Not divorced. Adheres to Articles of Faith of the BBFI and/or The Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Must believe that salvation provided by Jesus is available to all people and is not limited to a few. He must have a sense of urgency to reach the lost, and can give examples of leading others to salvation. He will be asked to give examples of answered prayers.
Concerning education, a Bachelor of Theology and Masters in Theology is preferred, but not necessarily a reason not to hire someone if they have experience and proven effectiveness in their ministry. He must be a student of the Bible and a desire for self and educational improvements. Experience as a senior pastor is preferred, but a requirement.
Also, his spouse must be supportive of his ministry and willing to serve in the church, but will not be expected to serve as an unpaid staff member.Job Description:
The pastor will have two church services a week to study and prepare for, be able to cast a vision for the future, lead and equip the membership for personal and church growth, outreach, and disciple-making. He will also need to raise funds and oversee the completion of the building project. He should be able to develop and lead the church staff, and lay leaders. He is expected to visit church members as needed, and to go soul-winning. He will conduct marriage ceremonies, funerals, and other events as needed. He will overseer events for the church. He will pastor the people.

Church: Wrangell Bible Baptist Church
Website: http://bbcwrangell.squarespace.com/
Church Description:
WBBC was founded by BBFI missionary Doug Moore in 1959 and has been pastored by several other BBFI missionaries after his untimely death shortly thereafter in an airplane crash. The church building and a small older parsonage are owned by WBBC. It is located on an island in southeast Alaska along the Inside Passage. The current population of the community is approximately 2,000. Current church attendance averages 25. The population and attendance are transient and fluctuate with the economy and work available. It is a fishing community. Much of the population roots are in either logging or fishing industry. Primarily two of the eight different tribes of Alaska natives reside in Wrangell. They are the Tlingit and Haida and a few who have Iñupiat or Tsimshian heritage and many are of Norwegian descent.
WBBC meets as a church body for public worship for Life Groups on Sunday mornings followed by a worship service. Currently, the music is via online due to lack of musicians and it is currently blended music. The church meets as a family again on Wednesday evenings with a light meal/soup followed by Bible study and prayer. Currently, the church is supporting eight different missionaries/projects with an annual Faith Promise budget of $7,000.00. WBBC is affiliated as a BBFI church. The church does not adhere to Reformed Theology! We are pre-trib, pre-mel, dispensational, but not legalistic. Wrangell is home of two fishing canneries and during the summer months import well over 300 workers. This has been an open door of evangelism to many people groups around the world who are temporarily here working. There are nine religious organizations in the community, Assembly of God, Bah'aí, Catholic, Episcopal, Jehovah's Witness, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Mormon, Seventh Day Adventist. Our current Missionary/Pastor has been here over 27 years and due to medical of both he and his wife we are in need of the position to be filled by either an Interim/Intern or Pastor. The attire on the island is very casual and appropriate to an outdoorsman, fisherman, logger. They, as a community, are not receptive to suits and ties. Wrangell Alaska is in the “uttermost”, only way in or out of Wrangell is via plane or boat. It is an island.Job Requirements:
Ministry experience and training/understanding of a mission field, A man of God who seeks to please and serve Him in all areas of his life. His family supportive of ministry and the demands made on his time. Able to teach and preach. A clear profession of faith in Christ and a love for His church. An example to WBBC and the community of how he leads, loves, and cares for his family consistent with God's word. Character that reflects the biblical qualities of a Pastor as seen in 1Timothy and 1Peter. Strives to live a life that glorifies God, a tither, supports Faith Promise missions, leads others to Christ, and is respected for his character, integrity, and ethics at home, in the church, and community. Ability to function in a different culture than the lower 48, willing to assimilate himself with WBBC, the community of Wrangell and southeast Alaska and willing to be a positive influence on the culture of the island of Wrangell. Must be sociable, relational, adaptable, approachable, and FLEXIBLE. Make himself available to fellowship and be with members during times of celebration and grief. Adhere to WBBC firm policy against use in any form of alcohol at any time. Interest in fishing, hunting and eating fresh seafood is a positive in being accepted. The sea bountifully provides salmon of various types, shrimp, crab, clams, oysters and game meat is plentiful. Once cannot have a fear of flying or water to survive here. It is an island, arrival and departures are by plane or boat.
Job Description:
The principal communicator of God’s word in public worship services. Responsible for the overall health and growth of WBBC. A work ethic that if lay leaders and membership duplicate it will impact the effectiveness of the church and the influence of the community. A complete understanding of the church finances and the allocations. Possess organizational skills and ability to effectively and skillfully discuss long-term and short- term goals with the membership. Represent WBBC in a way to strengthen and clarify the vision and ministry here. Because of the extremely high cost of living on the island and Alaska as a whole it is likely that at least the Pastor or is wife is willing to work a secular job or have outside support sufficient to cover basic needs and insurance. It is a paid position and includes housing but not insurance. The Pastor will be responsible for the lawn and snow removal at his own home and other minor household repairs and automotive repairs. Life skills in survival are basic living on the island.

Church: Grace Bible Baptist Church
Website: http://gracebiblebaptistchurch.churchcenter.com/
Church Description:
In existence since 1967, our church is located at 216 Rough Edge Road in Ruston, Louisiana—home to Louisiana Tech University and Delta Community College and in close proximity to Grambling State University. The population of Lincoln Parish (county) is approximately 50,000. In addition to regularly scheduled Sunday school classes and worship services, the church supports a robust faith promise missions program, as well as providing transportation and other initiatives as part of our outreach ministry. This includes fundraising and staffing for summer youth and junior camps. The average Sunday morning attendance for the past three months is 65.8. Our order of service features blended worship, and we are an independent Baptist church.
Job Requirements:
The Grace Bible Baptist Church Senior Pastor should live a life that embodies the principles and instructions given in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. It is imperative that decisions, large and small, be approached in a spirit of prayer and that the man of God spends considerable energy in the study of the Word, being responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
A combination of sound doctrine and a heart filled with love for the people of God and concern for a lost and dying world is essential to our Lord’s command to win people to Him and to disciple new Christians.
Though the above are paramount, it is of equal or greater importance that he not neglect enjoying restorative time with and ministering to his own family.
He should possess a bachelor’s degree in ministry and/or considerable, verifiable pastoral experience.
He must also agree to adhere to the church’s established bylaws.Job Description:
As an under-shepherd of the Chief Shepherd, the pastor should be the principal communicator of God’s message, based on the Holy Scriptures, in public worship services. Outside of special circumstances (e.g., missions conferences, revival meetings), this involves Sunday morning and evening services as well as a Wednesday evening time of prayer and Bible study.
In addition to fervent prayer and study, this requires frequent interfacing with others, including the church trustees as well as leaders of the outreach and music ministries, to facilitate clearly defined procedural and directional expectations in keeping with our mission and vision.
The pastor should assume the principal role in developing, communicating, and, as necessary, amending church protocols, following guidelines enumerated in the bylaws. This includes generalized church administration and oversight.
He should also be prepared to officiate at baptisms, weddings, and funerals, as well as conduct the Lord’s supper as he is led.
Demonstrating love of and care for others is a defining pastoral characteristic. At no point is this more apparent than in the provision of wise counsel to the flock and in the winning of souls (Proverbs 11:30).
