Ministry Experience:

2016–present — First Baptist Church Clayton, NM — Senior Pastor
I oversee every area of church function. I am the principal communicator of the church, preaching and teaching two to three times each week. I actively participate in every ministry and committee of the church. I provide pastoral counseling and prayer. I visit the sick and elderly in the hospital, nursing care facility, and in their homes. I lead the church to accomplish its vision to share the Gospel with every person in our city and to grow our church by baptizing and discipling believers. I have successfully managed major personnel conflict in the church. I have been privileged to baptize dozens of kids, teenagers, and adults and to see the church grow in both faith and numbers.

2013–2016 — Kelview Heights Baptist Church (Midland, TX) — High School Pastor
I led the HS ministry of our church, which involved teaching weekly, managing volunteers, overseeing the budget, leading worship, and also overseeing a Junior High pastor. I preached, taught, discipled, and counseled. I invested in and developed leadership. I studied, designed, and wrote teaching curriculum. I made hospital and outreach visits. I managed our church's social media channels. I was the liaison for our Widow's Ministry, caring for and coordinating lawn/house care projects for widows in our church.

2010–2013 — First Baptist Church Haysville, KS — Associate Pastor, Youth & Singles
I led the Junior High, High School, and College students of the church. I preached and taught weekly, managed a large group of volunteers, organized events, and oversaw the budget. I also designed our church's website, was very active in the community, coached Upward Basketball, trained worship leaders, and led missions trips. I led worship in our church's contemporary service and in all the youth services.

2009–2010 — First Baptist Church Chico, TX — Associate Pastor, Youth & Music
I was one of only two staff members leading the church. I learned ministry here: I taught in the youth, developed curriculum, managed volunteers, oversaw the budget, designed the church website, led worship in all weekly services, organized and managed the worship team, and preached.
